"DADDY'S VINTAGE CAR"

MY DADDY DRIVES A VINTAGE CAR.
VINTAGE MEANS IT'S OLD.
IT ALSO MEANS A LOT OF RUST,
FLAKY PAINT, AND MOLD.
HIS FAVORITES COME FROM ENGLAND ...
MORGANS, ROLLS, AND JAGS.
YOU CAN BUY 'EM ALL FIXED UP...
OR ALL APART IN BAGS.

THE TOP IS NEVER, EVER UP ...
THE WINDSHIELD'S ALWAYS DOWN.
LEATHER SEATS THAT HOLD YOU TIGHT,
WHILE WIRE WHEELS SKIM THE GROUND.
TANGLED HAIR AND FROZEN FEET,
WITH BIRD STUFF ON YOUR CLOTHES ...
MOM'S NOT QUITE THE SPORT DAD IS,
WHEN BUGS GO UP HER NOSE.

ONE THING I DON'T UNDERSTAND
ABOUT DAD'S VINTAGE CAR ...
SOMETHING ALWAYS SEEMS TO BREAK
BEFORE HE GOES TOO FAR.
BUT GOOD SPORT DAD SAYS,
"THAT'S THE PRICE
YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR CLASS
SO LET'S GET OUT AND PUSH IT HOME ...
WE'LL SAVE A LOT ON GAS!"
